Sales for Samsung’s new Galaxy Z foldables and Galaxy Watch lineup start Aug. 7 in select markets, with the global rollout covering 106 markets through carriers, retailers and Samsung’s own stores.
Preorders for the new lineup rose more than 30% from the previous generation, signaling stronger demand ahead of launch; Graphite led for the Fold8 Ultra and Fold8, while Pink topped Flip8 orders.
The flagship Fold8 Ultra adds an 8-inch main display, 200 MP camera, 5,000 mAh battery and 45 W charging in a 215 g body just 4.1 mm thick when unfolded.
Samsung positioned the range around three foldable use cases—productivity, immersive viewing and self-expression—while the Watch Ultra2 and Watch9 extend the push with AI-backed health tracking and brighter displays.
To ease switching, Samsung updated Smart Switch for QR-based wireless iPhone transfers and bundled a 6-month Google AI Pro trial worth $119.94 with new Galaxy Z purchases.
