Summary
Mike Malott stopped Joaquin Buckley at 2:32 of the second round in the UFC Edmonton main event at Rogers Place in Alberta, finishing the fight with a timed knee and follow-up right hand.
The knockout came after a competitive opening round in which Buckley pressured and landed enough to earn two of three media scorecards, while Malott mixed in body kicks and counters.
The win pushed Malott's streak to four straight fights and capped a card that also saw Jasmine Jasudavicius beat Erin Blanchfield by unanimous decision in the co-main event.
