Ozon said a Ukrainian drone set its Krasnodar logistics center on fire Monday, suspending operations after four southern Russian warehouses were also attacked over the weekend.
66 targets were hit across Russia and occupied regions overnight into Monday, Ukraine’s drone forces commander said, as Kyiv widened weeks of strikes from market leader Wildberries to Russia’s No. 2 online retailer.
Nearly 30% of Ozon’s market value was wiped out on the Moscow Exchange, triggering a discretionary auction, while Russia’s finance ministry proposed 12-month tax deferrals for Wildberries and sellers with losses above 5% of annual income.
Almost 1,000 Ukrainian drones were shot down over 24 hours, Russia’s defence ministry said; officials in Krasnodar blamed drone debris for killing three children and damaging residential buildings.
The attacks underscore Ukraine’s push to hit Russian commercial logistics as well as military assets, with Zelenskyy using Independence Day to vow Kyiv would not withdraw from Donbas.
