Spectrum Expands 1-Gig Internet to 900+ Seminole County Locations, Awards $15,000 Grant

More than 900 Seminole County homes and small businesses have been added to Spectrum’s high-speed network, with the local build nearing completion.
Up to 1 gigabit-per-second service is being offered through the expansion, alongside mobile, TV and voice services, as part of Spectrum’s rural broadband push.
More than $7 billion in private investment is funding that multi-year program, which targets over 1.7 million new locations nationwide and more than 100,000 miles of fiber.
A $15,000 Beyond the Build Digital Education grant went to Christian Tech Center Ministries in Longwood to support digital access and education for local students and families.
