Israeli forces cleared Palestinian visitors from Solomon’s Pools at gunpoint on Friday, shut a kiosk and declared the Bethlehem-area tourist site a closed military area.
The move came amid wider coordinated attacks across the occupied West Bank, with settlers raiding Khirbet Abu al-Ouf, entering Al-Zaytoun Valley and riding motorcycles near homes on Atara’s outskirts.
In Umm Safa, settlers released cattle onto Palestinian-owned farmland, which residents described as a fresh attack on agricultural property.
Solomon’s Pools, between Al-Khader and Artas, has faced repeated recent harassment of visitors and access restrictions as Israeli forces and settlers tighten control over tourist and archaeological areas.
