Israeli Settlers, Soldiers Raid Nablus, Injuring 11 and Detaining 10

At least 11 Palestinians, including four children, were injured in Friday raids by Israeli settlers escorted by soldiers in Nablus and nearby Tal, with one person shot in the stomach.
Israeli forces fired bullets, stun grenades and tear gas during the Junaid neighbourhood assault, while video verified by Al Jazeera showed troops massing in Tal before entering nearby areas and later leaving.
At least 10 people were detained across the West Bank, including in Nablus, Tal, Salem and Bethlehem, as raids also hit Ramallah’s Qaddura camp, Salfit and areas near Tulkarem.
Thursday’s army seizure of four homes in Tal as military barracks and a settler call for a mass march set the stage for the violence, framed as retaliation after two Israelis were killed in last week’s settler attack.
The latest raid adds to a broader surge in settler assaults and military operations around Nablus, where Palestinians say arrests and road restrictions have effectively blockaded the area this week.
