Mediterranean summer yacht charters are running 20% to 30% below last year, pushing brokers and owners to offer discounts through late July and August.
American demand started the year strong but slowed after the Iran war, brokers said, leaving clients to delay bookings and hunt for last-minute deals.
210,000 euros is the discounted weekly rate recently offered for the 130-foot Club M, down from 250,000 euros, while other yachts are advertising rare late-summer availability.
Boats over 70 meters are still seeing the strongest demand, and September bookings are already ahead of last year as some travelers shift trips later, hoping Middle East tensions ease.
