The compact UI currently offers 6 text features—Rewrite, Proofread, “How does this sound?”, “Edit with Siri,” key points and summaries—while selected content can also trigger actions like messages, calendar events, Maps and package tracking.
Beta testers found the feature can be enabled through a private Terminal flag, but some actions do not respond and the interface behaves inconsistently, indicating Apple is still building the underlying functionality.
The hidden test, first spotted by a Reddit user, may preview a lighter-weight Siri workflow in macOS 27 Golden Gate, though Apple has given no sign it will ship in the fall release.
