Spotify Rolls Out Talk to Spotify Beta to Premium Users in 3 Countries

Spotify is gradually launching “Talk to Spotify” in beta for Premium users aged 18 and older in the U.S., Ireland and Sweden on iOS and Android.
The feature lets users speak or type from the Home or Now Playing screens to play music, build playlists, save tracks, adjust queues and refine requests in a back-and-forth chat.
It also answers questions about songs, artists, albums, podcasts and audiobooks, while surfacing related stories and details such as release dates, genres and guest or author information.
Spotify said the tool can draw on a listener’s own history too, handling prompts such as when a song was first played or which genres they have favored recently.
The launch extends Spotify’s broader AI push beyond recommendation tools like AI DJ, turning the app into a conversational control and discovery interface.
