Google Launches Gmail Live AI Beta for Voice Inbox Search on Android and iOS

Gmail Live is now appearing in beta for some Android and iOS users, letting them use Gemini to search email inboxes with natural-language voice commands.
The feature adds a Live icon in Gmail search, opens a full-screen beta interface, and can handle requests such as finding travel dates or order updates, though command processing still has a short delay.
Google plans a broader rollout to AI Pro and Ultra subscribers later this summer, with Workspace business customers also able to test the Live tools in preview.
Gmail Live is part of Google's wider push to bring Gemini Live into core apps, with Docs Live and Keep Live set to extend the same voice-first experience across its productivity suite.
