Faith Gregory was found dead around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, 1.8 miles downstream from her Crawford County home after she went missing in flash flooding.
Gregory was last seen between 3 and 4 a.m. Friday near Missouri V and Davisville Road, on top of a canoe as floodwaters carried her away, according to a family friend.
Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Crawford County Sheriff's Office, two fire districts and the county coroner responded to the recovery scene.
Four dogs were with Gregory when she was last seen; one has been found, while three remain missing as the flooding's toll continues to ripple through the area.
