KRW 2,577,000 is the leaked South Korea starting price for Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, with the Z Fold 8 at KRW 2,278,000 and the Z Flip 8 at KRW 1,683,000.
Memory costs are driving the changes: DRAM and NAND’s share of an $800 smartphone reportedly rose from 14% in Q1 2025 to 40% in Q3 2026, pushing brands to pass on higher component costs.
Against prior models, the Z Fold 8 Ultra appears about KRW 197,700 pricier than the Fold 7, while the Z Flip 8 is up roughly KRW 198,000; the standard Z Fold 8 appears KRW 101,300 cheaper.
The leaked South Korea figures sit well below earlier Europe leaks, suggesting they may reflect carrier-subsidized pricing tied to multi-year contracts rather than outright retail prices.
July 22 is the reported launch date in London, with South Korea pre-orders slated for July 28 to August 3, deliveries from August 4 and general sales from August 7.
