Summary
Kandice Gunter, 30, was reported missing in Casper after she failed to pick up her two children, ages 9 and 6, from the Boys & Girls Club.
Casper police said Gunter was last seen the morning of Oct. 29 in Natrona County and was believed to be driving a gray 2016 GMC Canyon with Wyoming temporary registration.
Her cellphone was last located around 12:30 p.m. Friday along Highway 387 near the Natrona County line; her sister said the two last spoke at 10:41 a.m. Wednesday and Gunter then stopped answering calls.
Kayla Gunter told local media the disappearance is out of character, saying her sister had moved from Nevada to Casper about a month ago to be closer to her children and had shown no sign she planned to leave.
Police described Gunter as 5-foot-7 and about 185 pounds, with black hair, blue eyes and a butterfly tattoo on her neck, and asked anyone with information to contact Casper police or Crime Stoppers.
