Summary
Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner posted a tribute compilation on their podcast’s YouTube channel, gathering Star Trek co-stars’ stories honoring Patrick Stewart’s legacy.
LeVar Burton joins the video to recall reuniting with Stewart for Picard’s final 10 episodes, with the cast saying their bond felt unchanged from The Next Generation.
Rick Berman also revisits Gene Roddenberry’s early resistance to casting Stewart, recalling the creator’s doubts that a “bald Englishman” could become the franchise’s next captain.
The tribute centers on Stewart’s long impact across The Next Generation and Picard, framing the video as a fan-facing celebration of one of Star Trek’s defining actors.
