Summary
Constance Hages, 31 and pregnant, was identified as the woman killed in Friday night’s shooting inside a Spirit Halloween at Fairfield’s Solano Town Center.
Six other victims, ages 16 to 43, were shot; four remained hospitalized in critical but stable condition, while two men, 19 and 43, were treated and released.
Fairfield police said the attack appears to have been a targeted incident involving one suspect, and no one had been detained as detectives reviewed video and other evidence.
Witnesses described two bursts of gunfire, shoppers fleeing through a gate into the mall, and immediate panic inside the store.
Spirit Halloween said the store will stay closed until further notice, the mall canceled its Mall-O-Ween event, and the FBI sent an evidence response team to assist.
