Summary
41,191 DHS personnel entries and 55,603 internal groups appear in the "Icepick" archive, with analysts saying the release exposes supervisors, unit memberships and tool-linked accounts—not just names and work emails.
CBP makes up more than half the indexed records, while ICE contributes roughly 6,600 to 10,000 entries and USCIS about 6,200; WIRED said 39 HSI employees appeared in groups tied in court filings to undercover operations.
Palantir Falcon, PenLink and Mobile Fortify are named in reported group references, alongside more than 700 accounts linked to Signal and over 200 CBP accounts tied to Mobile Fortify.
DDoSecrets said the archive came from a DHS Okta login system based on source-group claims, but Okta said it found no evidence its systems or data were compromised, leaving the breach path unresolved.
Security experts warned the records could be cross-referenced with earlier leaks and commercial data to enable phishing, impersonation and operational mapping, sharpening the risk for undercover personnel and contractors.
