University Lab's 62-0 rout of Collegiate went viral less for the score than for what it suggested about the level of competition around quarterback Knox Kiffin.
Video from Friday's game showed Kiffin operating with little pressure and a stark talent gap across the field, prompting online comparisons to past debates over Arch Manning's high school opposition.
Knox Kiffin—the son of LSU coach Lane Kiffin—is already drawing offers from Syracuse, Missouri and Georgia Tech, keeping attention on how much the blowout says about him versus his schedule.
With the high school season entering its playoff push, the lopsided result sharpened a familiar recruiting question: whether dominant tape reflects elite quarterback play, weak opponents, or both.
