Summary
Apple’s tech specs page shows HomeView ships with 15 built-in apps, including FaceTime, Home, Safari, Messages, Weather and Music.
CarPlay integration extends the hub beyond those native apps by pulling supported audio and video apps from a paired iPhone, including Spotify, Apple TV, Apple News and Audiobooks.
An updated Apple Developer Program agreement confirms certain CarPlay apps and widgets will work on HomeView, reinforcing that no dedicated App Store is available on the device.
HomeView is open for pre-orders now and launches on Friday, Nov. 13, with earlier reports saying the smart home hub starts at $289.
