Summary
Minnesota’s Beckham move looks aimed at more than depth, with the veteran brought in after the Vikings got almost nothing beyond Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.
Jennings, signed for $8 million on a one-year deal, has just 2 catches for 9 yards on 4 targets through 3 games and drew only 1 target while playing 95% of snaps Sunday.
Tai Felton has added little help, with 1 catch for 14 yards on 3 targets in 4 games, reinforcing why the Vikings sought another option.
Beckham could settle in as the No. 3 receiver behind Jefferson and Addison, giving Kyler Murray another target alongside tight end T.J. Hockenson as Minnesota tries to revive its passing depth.
