Summary
Milwaukee enters Game 3 with a 2-0 NLDS lead and can clinch an NLCS berth Tuesday night after one-run wins in the first two games.
Dustin May gets the start for the Brewers despite a 5.65 ERA in 10 Milwaukee starts, backed by a stronger track record against San Diego — a 3.14 career ERA over 16 appearances.
Nick Pivetta starts for the Padres after posting a 2.86 ERA in eight injury-limited starts this season, though he owns an 8.76 ERA in five career starts against Milwaukee.
San Diego also loses closer Mason Miller to the paternity list for Game 3, replacing him with Wandy Peralta a day after Walker Buehler returned from the same list.
