Summary
Jodie Evans, co-founder of CodePink and wife of Neville Roy Singham, helped lead a four-hour anti-Israel march through Midtown during Benjamin Netanyahu’s UN appearance, with protesters moving from the New York Public Library toward the UN and later Times Square.
Fox News Digital said the demonstration showed a tightly organized operation by the People’s Forum and allied groups, using field marshals, pre-made signs, wagons, sound equipment, a stage and a media team rather than a spontaneous street turnout.
Neville Roy Singham’s network is already under pressure: federal prosecutors in Manhattan have opened a grand jury investigation into alleged money laundering, bank fraud and wire fraud, though Singham and the funded groups have not been charged.
Tax filings cited in the report show Singham directed $285 million to nonprofits and media groups, including $22.4 million to the People’s Forum, $1.33 million to CodePink and $1.098 million to BreakThrough BT Media.
The protest followed earlier anti-Netanyahu actions in New York, including a sit-in that led to 103 detentions, and added to scrutiny of how a repeat network of activists turns major Israel-related events into coordinated national demonstrations.
