DraftKings Offers $150 Bonus Bets for $5 Rams-Giants Wager

The under has a strong case, but it is not the clear-cut smartest play. The best argument for the under is game script. League-wide scoring has dipped early in the season, the Giants just won with a ball-control approach, and New York is expected to again lean on long drives and fewer possessions. That style naturally suppresses totals. The Rams are also without Puka Nacua, a major loss for Matthew Stafford, and Los Angeles managed only seven points in its opener. If Sean McVay answers that by leaning more on Kyren Williams, Blake Corum and play-action rather than an aggressive tempo, 47.5 becomes a meaningful number. There are also defensive reasons to respect the under. The Giants held Dallas to 244 total yards in Week 1 and looked disruptive up front. If they generate pressure and shorten the game offensively, they can keep scoring in check. Weather is not a factor at SoFi, so this comes down more to pace and efficiency than conditions. Still, the under is far from automatic. Some projection models have the game landing around 49 points, and there is a credible over case built on a Rams rebound at home, Stafford’s track record, and a Giants offense that was highly efficient with Jaxson Dart in Week 1. If Los Angeles starts fast and forces New York out of its slower script, the total can climb quickly. So the under is a reasonable value play, especially because of pace and Nacua’s absence, but calling it the smartest bet is too strong. It is more a lean than a lock.
