Clancy Lawyer Challenges Turley to Debate Over 1 Holdout Juror Criticism

Kevin Reddington said Jonathan Turley was "wrong" to condemn his public criticism of the lone juror who blocked a unanimous murder verdict in Lindsay Clancy's trial, and said he would welcome a debate.
Reddington argued later information shows the juror failed to follow the judge's instructions, while acknowledging the public still has not heard the holdout juror's own account.
Turley responded on X that he was surprised by the challenge and said the real issue is lawyers' professional duty not to inflame anger against a juror for independent deliberations.
The dispute grew out of Clancy's mistrial in the deaths of her 3 children, where jurors deadlocked on criminal responsibility; prosecutors have said they plan to retry the murder charges.
