ShyVox’s new DLSS Unlocked package bundles two community tools into one installer, letting RTX 20-, 30- and 40-series owners enable DLSS 5 neural rendering and multi-frame generation in supported games.
The mod works only with DirectX 12 titles that already support DLSS upscaling and frame generation, and users must supply their own patched DLSS 5 DLL for legal reasons.
On RTX 20- and 30-series cards, frame interpolation is handled through AMD’s FSR 3.1; on RTX 40-series, DLSS-G generates the second frame while FSR 3.1 fills the rest, reaching up to 6X MFG.
DLSS Unlocked targets Windows and Linux, but it differs from broader DLSS 5 swapper-style mods because it patches only games with existing DLSS 2/3 support.
The mod should not be used in multiplayer games, where anti-cheat systems could flag the files and trigger bans.
