The series shows a broad summer slowdown: weekly averages eased from 24,250 by June 13 and 19,750 by June 27 to 9,500 by Aug. 1 before the latest rebound.
ADP said the update now incorporates first-quarter QCEW data issued by the Labor Department on Aug. 28, and the estimates carry a two-week lag for completeness.
