Arc of Tomorrow will add a fourth Act to Civilization 7, pushing the end date from 1950 to 2050 in a free update planned for 2027.
Expanded nuclear gameplay is the centerpiece, adding new units, atomic-era diplomacy, disarmament or warhead-escalation choices, and a new take on mutually assured destruction.
Firaxis also plans Cold War-style systems including turning settlements into City States for proxy conflicts, plus advanced resource production such as enriched uranium and Great Works of Film.
The roadmap comes with update 1.5.0—adding improved resource generation and a true-start Earth map—and alongside Earthrise, Civ 7's first major expansion focused on space exploration.
