In seven appearances last year, Daniels completed 60.6% of his passes for 1,262 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions while adding 278 rushing yards and two scores.
The limited preseason workload leaves Daniels set to make his first regular-season start since Week 14 of last season when Washington opens against Philadelphia.
