Google Adds 5 Android Features, Led by Gemini-Powered Find Hub Memory Tool

September’s Android update lets Gemini save and recall where users left items in Find Hub—even without a tracking tag—on Android 16 and newer devices where Gemini and Find Hub are supported.
Android 17 also gets Motion Assist, which places customizable moving bubbles over the screen to reduce motion sickness by matching vehicle movement.
Android 9 and newer devices gain Guided Vision through Gemini Live, allowing users with visual impairments to share their camera feed for spoken descriptions, label reading and object finding.
Starting today, Google is rolling out Google Keep integration in Messages so chat participants can edit shared notes, while Messages also gains per-conversation themes with custom colors and wallpapers.
The additions extend Google’s broader Gemini push on Android, following a separate Gemini Live update earlier Tuesday that added real-time conversation translation.
