Golden Gate’s latest build keeps refining the redesign: Liquid Glass opacity now boosts readability, a new slider adjusts transparency, shadowing better marks active windows, and apps get more uniform toolbars, edge-to-edge sidebars and less rounded corners.
Siri AI is a centerpiece of the update, moving into Spotlight with a new Search or Ask interface, a dedicated chat app with conversation history, and custom voice options on newer Macs.
Apple is also extending AI across the system with on-screen Visual Intelligence, Write with Siri, photo-editing tools in Photos, tab organization in Safari, automatic weak-password updates and a revamped Image Playground for photorealistic images.
