U.S. Marshals Arrest 22-Year-Old Zymire Hughes in Las Vegas After 15 Philadelphia Masked Attacks

22-year-old Zymire Hughes was arrested at about 8 p.m. Tuesday at a Las Vegas apartment complex and is being held for extradition to Philadelphia.
Authorities say Hughes terrorized at least 15 people near Philadelphia City Hall on Aug. 12, allegedly chasing, threatening and harassing them while wearing a Chucky-style mask.
Investigators tracked his Aug. 19 flight path from Trenton-Mercer Airport to Orlando and then Las Vegas, where they say he had lived since February and had gone to ground for five days.
Marshals said Hughes first stayed with a girlfriend, changed locations after his photo was released, and resisted arrest by trying to slip his handcuffs before deputies subdued him.
He now faces multiple charges including aggravated assault, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment in a case that drew wide attention in Philadelphia.
