Greenworks rates the MaximusZ for 4 acres per charge, but the test suggests about 2 acres at maximum speed and roughly 3 acres in easier, lower-speed conditions, making the headline claim look optimistic.
Three blade motors, two drive motors, 41 horsepower and an 8 mph top speed give it strong cutting performance, lower noise at about 85 dB, and added utility with a dump bed and 300-pound rear towing capacity.
Its compromises include a dim 4-inch display, misaligned control handles that cannot be recalibrated, a proprietary charger, and a battery-drain order that empties smaller packs first.
The 767-pound mower is pitched as both a premium Zero-turn and a mini utility vehicle, but its value depends on discounts and long-term reliability more than on its advertised range.
