Jeffco Workforce Department Sponsors Oct. 10 JC Jump Market for Young Entrepreneurs

Jeffco’s Workforce and Employment Services Department is partnering with Denny Foster of Main and Mill to sponsor the “JC Jump Market” at Festus Street Fest on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The market is designed as a dedicated area for young entrepreneurs, extending the department’s role beyond job placement into small-business support.
Lora Warner, the department’s director, said in a recent KJFF interview that Workforce and Employment Services offers assistance to students, individuals and businesses.
Assistant Director Saranda Lund said access is not limited to Jefferson College students, widening the potential reach of the Oct. 10 event and other workforce services.
