Discounts of up to 44% are already appearing ahead of Labor Day 2026, with ZDNET highlighting markdowns on Apple gear, TVs, laptops and wearables across major retailers.
Best Buy, Walmart, Costco and Amazon are among the sellers offering the early promotions as retailers start holiday-season deal activity before the Sept. 7 federal holiday.
Notable offers include Apple AirTag packs at $99 from $130, Garmin's Fenix 8 Pro at $749 from $979, and the Brick screen-time device at $80 from $99.
Bigger-ticket items lead the deepest cuts, including an LG C6 OLED TV at $1,400 from $2,500 and an HP OmniBook 5 laptop at $1,700 from $2,700.
ZDNET said it selected products that are at least 20% off or rarely discounted, using price trackers, customer reviews and hands-on testing.
