Summary
IGN’s MW4 Beta guide says players can gain a competitive edge by pairing a 115-120 field of view with 1.5-1.9 horizontal and vertical stick sensitivity.
The recommendations focus on visibility and responsiveness: motion blur, depth of field, V-Sync and most shadow effects should be turned off, while Nvidia Reflex or AMD Anti-Lag should stay on.
On controller settings, IGN advises disabling vibration and trigger effects, setting ADS transition timing to Instant, using Dynamic aim response, and prioritizing reload over other interactions.
For PC performance, the guide favors 2560x1440 or 1920x1080 resolution, a 150 gameplay frame-rate cap, DLSS or FidelityFX CAS upscaling, and very low particle resolution to reduce visual clutter.
IGN notes several choices still depend on personal preference and hardware, especially DLSS presets, deadzones and zoom-specific ADS multipliers, as the beta continues to be optimized.
