PwC Cancels 15-Year Disney Intern Trip, Replacing It With Local Office Events

PwC scrapped its summer “Impact” event, ending a long-running Disney World capstone for interns who received full-time offers and replacing it with office-based wrap-ups.
Roughly 15 years after the program began, the firm said it is redirecting resources to experiences that give interns more time with colleagues and clients, which it sees as a better investment.
The canceled trip had covered Disney access, lodging, meals, networking with leaders and career panels; some interns were instead told to expect smaller local events such as team dinners.
EY also canceled its annual Disney trip for 2026 interns and reportedly shortened internships and cut other perks, suggesting broader belt-tightening across Big Four recruiting even as KPMG and Deloitte still maintain large training programs.
