ASUS Cancels $4,607 RTX 5090 Order, Relists Card Near $5,090

$4,607 paid through NVIDIA's marketplace did not secure an ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 for one buyer, who said ASUS canceled the order and later saw the card relisted at about $5,090 after tax.
NVIDIA told the customer ASUS could not fulfill the purchase at the previous rate and said it asked ASUS to honor the original order, but the vendor reportedly refused.
The relisted price implied roughly a $500 jump from the original transaction, even though the card had already been listed far above the RTX 5090 Founders Edition's $1,999 launch MSRP.
The dispute adds to broader complaints over inflated high-end GPU pricing, with recent reports also citing Gigabyte-related order cancellations and price increases of up to 40%.
