Jan. 1, 2027 also moves several immigrant groups into fee-for-service Medi-Cal, preserving doctor visits and prescriptions at first but ending full-scope and dental benefits for some six months later.
State and legal-aid advocates are urging recipients to update county contact information, watch mailed notices, and use the 90-day reinstatement and appeal process to avoid unnecessary coverage losses.
