On "The Pat McAfee Show," Aaron Rodgers accused ESPN of ducking coverage of Dianna Russini’s scandal involving Patriots coach Mike Vrabel, saying a major NFL story was being ignored.
Rodgers argued the issue goes beyond private lives if leaks, tampering or award voting are affected, pointing to Russini’s role as an MVP and Coach of the Year voter.
His comments also revived a longer feud with NFL media: Rodgers said past reporting on his Jets tenure was largely false and aimed at ruining reputations, and he has previously clashed with both Russini and Adam Schefter.
Russini resigned from The Athletic after allegations of an inappropriate relationship with Vrabel, while Vrabel briefly left the Patriots during the 2026 draft for counseling before returning with team support.
