Reviews broadly describe it as a polished, easy-to-recommend midrange phone with good everyday cameras, strong battery life, clean software, and useful AI tools. At this price, it is being sold close to entry-level territory while offering a much more premium feature set. The catch is that the A57 is not meaningfully more expensive. For roughly $50 extra, the newer model adds Android 16 out of the box, IP68 durability, Wi‑Fi 6E, a brighter display, and better battery life. The performance uplift from the Exynos 1680 appears modest rather than transformative, but the A57 is still the fresher phone with slightly better longevity and refinements. That makes the A56 deal a steal only if your priority is minimizing upfront cost and getting a well-rounded Samsung phone below $400. It starts to look like an inventory-clearance trap if you were already prepared to spend around $400, because the A57’s upgrades are worth the small premium. In short, the A56 is the better deal; the A57 is the better buy.

$375 marks a new low for the Samsung Galaxy A56 on Amazon, dropping the phone $125 from its $500 list price across all three colors.
The sub-$400 deal covers a 5G model with 128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, an Exynos 1580 chip and Samsung AI tools including Circle to Search and Object Eraser.
Samsung also packs in a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, IP67 durability, a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging and a 50MP main rear camera.
Amazon says the offer is limited-time, and its trade-in program can cut the price by as much as another $370 for eligible old phones.
