London launch details showed Galaxy Watch Ultra2 as Samsung’s performance-focused new wearable, adding Trail Run metrics and automatic underwater tracking for depth, dive time and water temperature.
800mAh battery capacity is 35% higher than the prior model, while the watch is 12% thinner and its display reaches 5,000 nits for brighter outdoor visibility.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform powers the Ultra2, and Samsung said EN13319 certification, 10ATM water resistance and IP69K protection support diving and other harsh-environment use.
Mares partnership features will add real-time ascent and descent rates plus safety decompression time, while the companion Galaxy Watch9 targets everyday wellness across heart health, sleep, exercise and recovery.
