$50,000 from the CMC Foundation will let Mai-Wel widen employment, training and community participation programs across Maitland for people facing barriers to work.
Mai-Wel said the funding will help more participants build skills, confidence and pathways into jobs and greater independence.
Club Maitland City has already provided workplace learning and employment opportunities through a longstanding partnership that gives Mai-Wel participants hands-on experience in an inclusive setting.
The grant extends support from the CMC Foundation, set up by Club Maitland City in 2023 to channel club-raised funds into community projects across the Maitland region.
