AIO Launcher stood out in ZDNET’s latest Android-launcher test as a default-worthy option built around information widgets rather than a traditional icon-heavy home screen.
The launcher surfaces battery, storage, mail, tasks, calendar, news and frequent apps on the home screen, while keeping navigation one-handed with swipe-based app access, widget controls and quick tiles.
Custom scripting adds a deeper layer: advanced users can build LUA-based widgets, while others can install prewritten scripts and use AI tools to refine them.
Free access covers the core experience, and a one-time $12.99 Premium tier adds UI tuning, icon pack support, extra widgets, gesture buttons, cloud sync and cloud backup.
ZDNET said the design will not suit users who prefer conventional Android launchers, but called it a strong fit for people who want a minimalist, highly customizable and information-centric setup.
