Russia said Ukraine launched more than 300 drones on Saturday, while Zelensky said Kyiv also hit a military factory in Kirov for a second straight day as part of efforts to damage Moscow's war machine.
The attacks came amid heavy civilian casualties: Russian-installed officials said a strike on a Kyrylivka tourist camp killed 12 people, while Kyiv said Russian attacks killed five in Sumy and elsewhere.
In Omsk hours later, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev told Putin the war should be frozen and steered back toward Istanbul-style talks, an unusual public challenge from a Moscow ally.
The latest strikes add to fuel shortages and business disruption inside Russia, where Moscow has already extended a fuel export ban through year-end as peace talks remain stalled.
