The Pentagon said a temporary technical disruption caused four names to disappear, but its Defense Casualty Analysis System now shows 14 U.S. deaths in the conflict after earlier listing 18.
Rampersad, a Queens native from Ozone Park, was killed in an Iranian missile strike on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan on July 17, one of four service members the Pentagon said died in the U.S. Central Command region.
