Two new Rams alternates — the yellow “Classic Sol” and white “Fearsome White” — were unveiled Thursday at YouTube Theater in Inglewood as the team expanded its uniform lineup to five looks.
The designs salute the 1951 NFL championship team and the 1960s-70s Fearsome Foursome, with the “Classic Sol” marking the title’s 75th anniversary and the white set featuring white helmet horns and face mask.
Two years in development, the uniforms were heavily requested by fans, and team executives said they are meant to connect modern supporters with the franchise’s championship identity.
The Rams will wear “Classic Sol” on Sept. 21 against the Giants and Dec. 3 against the Chiefs, while “Fearsome White” is set for the Nov. 25 game against the Packers.
The rollout comes as the Rams enter a season in which they are favored to contend for the Super Bowl, which SoFi Stadium will host as Super Bowl LXI.
