Rep. Seth Moulton said Democrats still cannot tell voters how they would fix immigration, arguing the party has become defined mainly by opposition to President Donald Trump.
On MSNOW, the Massachusetts Democrat said town halls showed broad resistance to Trump’s enforcement agenda but little clarity on a Democratic alternative, calling that gap “a real problem.”
Moulton also said Democrats under Joe Biden brushed off inflation as temporary, repeating a pattern of “washing over problems” instead of addressing voter concerns directly.
As his own answer, Moulton called for abolishing ICE, prosecuting officials who break the law and expanding legal immigration, while his campaign against Sen. Ed Markey trails 41% to 35% in a June UNH poll.
