Samsung Launches One UI 9 Stable for 3 Galaxy Foldables as S26 Users Wait

Summary
One UI 9 stable, based on Android 17, is now live for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra and Flip 8, while the Galaxy S26 series remains on beta.
New software features center on AI and security, including an AI Assistant Activity dashboard, enhanced Privacy Alerts, Now Brief security insights and a Warranty and Care hub.
Smart Switch also expands iPhone migration on iOS 26.6 or later, adding QR-based wireless setup and transfers for passwords, passkeys, call history, accessibility settings and eSIM data.
Foldable-specific additions include My FanCam auto-reframing, Cine LUT video grading on the Fold 8 Ultra and an AI-native FlexWindow interface on the Flip 8.
Samsung has not given a wider rollout date, though the Galaxy S26 line is expected next before older foldables and other Galaxy devices.
