Two months in jail was imposed on Hong Kong internet personality Ho Huen, 79, for stabbing his wife Ye Xiuding several times as she prepared to leave him and return to mainland China.
Judge Stanley Chan sentenced Ho in his absence on Tuesday because he remained hospitalized after missing an earlier hearing, saying the case should be concluded given the time already spent in custody and his worsening health.
Ho had pleaded guilty to wounding with intent over the May 30, 2025 attack, in which he used a folding knife to stab 45-year-old Ye from behind while she waited for a lift outside his public rental flat.
