Summary
JZR Gold contracted RR Bueno to supply a fully equipped mining fleet and operators for Vila Nova, with equipment due on site shortly to begin mining activities.
The fleet will handle ore movement, plant feed and road maintenance as JZR pushes toward sustained production at the Amapá project.
Vila Nova already has an 800-tonne-per-day gravimetric mill on site, and its bulk-sampling permits allow up to 600,000 tonnes a year.
JZR took direct control of plant operations on May 28 after ECO completed construction, permitting and commissioning; ECO produced the first gold concentrate in October 2025.
The contract marks JZR's next step in turning a permitted tailings project with about 9 million tonnes grading 2.7 g/t gold into repeatable concentrate sales.
