A Sunday YouTube video showed Hasan Piker denouncing Lindsey Graham after the senator’s death, calling him a “bloodthirsty, odious monster” and attacking his war record.
Graham, 71, died Saturday of an aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, though the medical examiner said toxicology and microscopic testing are still pending.
Piker also mocked a tribute to Graham’s relationship with Israel, joining other commentators including Ana Kasparian, Cenk Uygur, Nick Fuentes and Steve Schmidt in posting harsh reactions.
President Donald Trump and other allies instead praised Graham’s service, underscoring the split response to the South Carolina Republican, who served in the Senate since 2003.
